Learn how to install our Autodesk 3ds Max plugin.

You can easily add your assets stored to Autodesk 3ds Max by following these steps.

Downloading the echo3D Autodesk 3ds Max Plugin

The plugin for Autodesk 3ds Max can be found here.

Clicking the button in the top header bar allows you to directly download the Autodesk 3ds Max plugin.

Installation

1. Drag and drop the echo3d_3dsMax_plugin.mzp file into the 3ds Max viewport

2. In the top 3ds Max menu, click Customize > Customize User Interface.

3. Go to the Toolbars tab

4. In the Category dropdown list, find "echo3D Smart Improter"

5. You will see "echo3D Smart Importer" in the Action list.

6. Drag that action onto any existing toolbar at the top of your screen

7. Click the new button to launch the tool

Once installed, the echo3D plugin should always show in the toolbar.
